Our high-quality triethylene glycol is used in several industries; from the plastics industry to automotive. However, TEG is primarily used for natural gas dehydration.

We sell TEG per tankcontainer, IBC, and drum. Note that TEG is toxic. Therefore, please read the TDS and MSDS, which both  can be downloaded via the links in the hexagon on the left.

Product Specification

TEG, also known as 2,2’-(ethylenedioxy) diethanol, is an organic compound, produced using natural gas, naphtha, coal, MTO or renewable resources. TEG is widely used in the industrial world and can be used for many purposes. Below you can find some of the industries using TEG. However, TEG is used in many other industries and manufacturing processes.

The largest share of TEG is used for natural gas dehydration

Furthermore, TEG is used as an intermediate in plasticizers

TEG is also for the production of polyurethanes.

Additionally, it is used as humectant.

Another purpose of DEG is its use as a solvent for aromatics and in textile dying.

Safety Information

No Hazard Symbol required. However, please read the MSDS. TEG can still cause damage if large quantities are swallowed.
