MEG is widely used in the industrial world and can be used for many purposes. Below you can find some of the industries using MEG. However, MEG is used in many other industries and manufacturing processes.

The largest share of MEG is used to produce polyester fiber.

Furthermore, MEG is an ingredient for the production of PET bottles and PET films.

MEG is also used as an anti-freeze and coolant.
